January 2025 - New Year

So now it's 2025, time has been flying by recently. Not much has been happening course that's sort of not true as Christmas and New Years just happened so I'll start off with what I did this month.

I was forced to go on
It was my sister's birthday, so we went to the European Christmas Market (I think that's what it's called) now it wasn't really my thing, but my sister liked it and there was a carousel there as you can see in the photo.

We also saw Sonic 3 and man I'm blown away. How do you even make a sequel that's better than the sequel that's better than the original? Though I'll talk about movies later.

A few weeks ago, my mom ordered some plastic plates from Ikea and they came in the world's largest box. so, with some extra cardboard parts and hot glue I converted it into a base for Transformers and G.I. Joe. I should mention it's a bit cluttered in the photos.

And an eagle eye view

My public speaking class also ended sort of (I have one more day) and I have done the whole speech presentation. It went smoothly but still I get a bit frightened in front of people. One downside is I got a B on my report card, and this has been my first B (In terms of report cards) in ages. Though as much as the class really wasn't my thing the people in my class were super chill. I got to show you this turtle one of my friends made me.
Still trying to think of a name for him/her

It was also Christmas, so we all know the motions. Drive for way too long to a family members house whom which you barely see and then go back home a few hours later, go to bed, and then Christmas.

Now that I've gotten you to read about my life, I'll talk about nerd guff because now that 2024 is over everyone does the top *insert number here* of the year. But I didn't buy many toys this year so I'll just do best and worst.

Toys:

The best toy I got this year has to be Super7's Snake eyes. I'm surprised Super7 even managed to make something of quality especially after their Tomax and Xamot BBTS exclusive was filled with QC issues. This also gets #1 spot because I'm an absolute sucker for old comics.

Step aside Jiraiya, this is the real American Ninja

Now the worst toy goes to no-one as every figure I got this year was a banger

Movies:

Onto movies because people like those, now my opinion on the best movie this year will seem very biased but who cares, my #1 is Transformers One, after a mediocre toy commercial in 86', a Japanese spin-off the is debatable as to if it is really a movie, and seven absolute garbage live-action movies we actually get something that is good. Now I don't want to waste your time, so I'll stop here with BADASSATRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It even has one in the name

For movies I actually have a worst and this has to go to Garfield. It had all the ever-loving potential in the world, and it just threw it all away by making characters that weren't even from the comic strip. Like what! All Nermal is, is a cameo! *Unintelligible angry noises*
Not even Chris Pratt made it good

Comics:

Now I didn't read a lot of different comics this year because I just got into them. So, the best one is a tie! Both Scarlett and Transformers were so good I can't decide. Transformers is just perfection and Scarlett has amazing build-up, a reason to root for the character, and great fight scenes.
*Thumbs Up*
Optimum pride!!!

And for the worst comic of the year, drum roll please, it's FCBD Ultraduck. Thumbs down, no, this sucks, and I just don't like it.
THIS SUCKS

So now to end this, it's a new year *insert joke about same old me* don't got much planned currently so I'll see you next month. Adios!
